Really nice one Bob. Reminds me of Warm Springs Agate.

The last rock picture reminds me of a Dryhead Agate. I have a few with the crystals like that. To me, the banding looks correct for a Dryhead Agate.

This was on the first typesetting program I ever used-
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover

Speaking of thundereggs, the Berkeley Hills used to have nice ones and good agate nodules too. I imagine it's all built up now though....Mel No Mel it's not built up. It's now part of the municipal watershed and off limits. I think about going over there since it's a 15 min. drive from my house but I heard it's patrolled by security. Apparently they know what is there and what people would do if they could get at it. No digging in any of the the drinking water, watershed areas.

Our current cat adopted us about eight years ago. A Lynx Point Siamese. Very talkative and intense play times. He is a sissy though and a mammas boy. He will come when called to my wife but just passes me by. I get to do the playing and feeding. Oh man he can play. I have the plastic stick that had a ribbon attached. After the ribbon came off he started to chew on the end of the stick. We bought an area rug and he has torn up every corner and loves to try and get the plastic from under the rug. He bites the stick so hard it's unbelievable.

Nice find. They can be difficult to find when the crud covers them. I have found Berkeley blue agate on the shore near Point Isabel in Richmond.
