Maryann, it is great to see Ralph's cabs again! You were both missed and this is a great break in the drought! Love them all but the tifanny's are wonderful!

Cool Slabs. I know what you mean about just itching to get the pile cut so you can see what is inside. Slows my cabbing down too. Fran

I am not so sure that is polkadot. I have never seen it with that clear agate. All that I have, with patterns, etc are all a solid white or simi transparent. Almost looks like a Texas or Mexican moss the way it has those rippled streamers in there. Of course, that could be loosly related to roostertail and that is Utah isn't it? The metallic material could be anything from marcasite, pyrite to Mica. They can all undercut or pit because they can be a bit softer than the agate. No matter what it is, I is a great shape and a beautiful cab! Fran

Very nice! Be careful in the vibe, some of the red lines can undercut and fill with grit. Check often and if it looks like it is getting beat up, pull it out and wash well. Only use the vibe fore a short while in each grit and see if that gets it where you want it to be. Good luck, I am looking forward to seeing that beauty finished! Fran

Umm, I have set them in the freezer just like wax and they have come off. If they don't want to let go after that, I then use fingernail polish remover. Fran
