I was impressed with the box of WWR biscuits from Mel. Have cut more than 3, but so far, so good. Here's the first cab.

Stupid spellchecker made the word albs when I typed 3 lbs.
I didn't take all 16 lbs of the Woodward agates to let somebody else have some too.

Thanks everyone, I'll post part 2 in a bit. By the way, the second pic is a rare white Woodward Ranch plume agate.

You told us what the problem was in your first paragraph. You said the 1200 and 3000 wheels are cheap imports. It's those wheels that are giving you problems. These wheels are inconsistent with their grits. Been there, done that. Back to using Nova Wheels and refurbishing them myself.

Thanks everyone. Mel, I met the owner of the Salina Plume mine when I was in Quartzite. His father ran the mine for many years and he asked his son to carry on when he passed away.
The Woodward Ranch red plume is a piece I collected on the last trip to the ranch. I too was blown away with what was inside.

Pat, I'm not sure where the purple tinge came from, it's not in the metal. Scott, I want to say they are Peridots, but then I'd be implying a meteorite-but they do look like it.

I used to go to the one here in San Jose, unfortunately they went belly up. It's the kind of place you pack a lunch and spend a whole day!
