Does anyone know when Lortone stopped production of this saw. Also what was the final price on last production.

I use a product called XM-5 in my mineral oil. I cut with a 12 inch and 10 saw and never have misting issues. The XM-5 is available on line from a company in Estevan Sask. Canada. In the 12 inch Lortone saw I only need a couple of cap fulls and the mist does not occur.

I use two saws all the time. A 10" and a 12".
The smaller slabs are to be ground for use as earrings.

I use Oil-Dri . Comes is 25# bag and is much cheaper than kitty litter and works great.

I do all my preforms in a tumbler. They all turn out and I do sell a lot. I also do a lot of hand cabbing as well when I have time.

Thanks to everyone for your support. This was lots of fun. Would like to try this type of contest again.
Big thanks to John and Roy.
