I can't find anywhere in Flickr to select BBCode, Pat. The only place I see this at all is at the bottom of the box where I'm typing this sentence.

Thank you for the offer. I thought I followed instructions. I opened my Flickr account, selected a photo (previously reduced in size), and clicked on the "curved arrow" icon to share it. A box pops up with the URL. I right clicked on the URL, which opens an option box. I clicked on copy. Next, I navigated to RTH to the test section and clicked on "create thread". This opens a large white box. I typed the "hope this comes through" comment and underneath it right clicked and clicked "paste". The URL shows up instead of the picture. Clicking on the URL opens up my Flickr account, not the picture. Anybody have a solution? Use simple terms, as my computer skills are obviously limited. Thanks in advance

Greetings from Ohio! I confess, I joined RTH in 2011. I have been a frequent browser, but have not done any posting. Now that I have retired, I hope that will change. I have been a rockhound for years, and eventually started slabbin' and cabbin'. When the cabs started piling up too high, I started a little wire wrapping, and recently started soldering, all pretty much self taught. I picked up a lot from all of you at RTH.

I bought a couple of pieces from a dealer at the Tucson show and we chatted a bit, although his English wasn't very fluent. He suggested I look up Rock Tumbling Hobby on the web. That was about 8 years ago...

In response to "why the backhoe?", I have been to Nether's Farm half a dozen times. There are always 4 or 5 open pits, but they may have been worked by many rockhounds over a period of months. If all you want is small pieces of flint, you can't take a step without your boot landing on flint, and you won't have any trouble filling a 5 gallon bucket in an hour or two. That being said, if you want pieces of the best quality flint to throw on the slab saw, having a fresh pit is ideal. Don't worry about getting 5 lbs; I have never left with less than 100.

I bought a 10 inch Covington less than a year ago, and from the start had problems with the rock climbing the blade. Adjusting the clutch helped, but it would still not cut a hard agate well. Now the power feed motor has burned out completely and a new one is $157. Like the other notes above, my saw also arrived damaged from the foam packing.

Hi Tony! I'm new to RTH, so I'm not sure I'm contacting you correctly. I would greatly appreciate a copy of your templates. My E-mail address is mgrets@yahoo.com. Thank you for your generous offer. Mark Gretsinger
