My wife is not really a jewelry person at all. She doe's not really care for my rock pendants in general as they are too heavy for her liking. The two she currently has are a fordite (wrapped) and bowlerite (smithed). Both of those materials are very light. I made this ocean jasper cab a bit smaller then my normal cabs in hopes that she might like it. If she don't like it I'll let her return it, LOL. Chuck

I have a couple of your groove wraps using fossils. I love the clean lines of them.

Thank you again everybody. It was a very nice day. On Sunday I got to hang out with my namesake - little Thomas so that made it even more special. This little tank engine started walking at 11 months and hasn't stopped yet. They live 30 minutes from us but they get sick, then we get sick, then ... back and forth till it's months since seeing them and they grow so fast. Oh my, what a lovely young lad! Thank you for sharing his photo.

Thank you, fellow RTHlings, you have softened the blow of this difficult time. He died today. Though we saw it coming, it is still a shock. I have many fond memories… held close to my heart… Dear Pat, although expected, it is heartbreaking to hear this news. Please know that we all love you and hold you dear in our hearts. May the Lord bless and keep the rest of your family, and spare you from continuing pain. Daymond is actually in a much better place now. You will see again. Take care.

Very good to hear you were released from the hospital today Jean! So much easier to heal/prepare at home. I'll be sending my thoughts and energy your way through the holidays, hopefully you'll be well on the mend by then. Thank you, stewdogg. Nice to be home. Just relaxing tonight, listening to my husband powering through a bag of Ruffles potato chips. A Bag rattling and crunching extravaganza. It's almost nine, bedtime will be here soon enough. I will most likely sleep well, without the all night long hospital activities keeping me up. Tomorrow I will turn on my desktop and pay some bills, as long as my brain fog doesn't try to take over again. Thank you for your thoughts and energy to get me through the holidays. I will however, be going back to the hospital for bloodwork (sodium levels) and later the surgery itself once they decide on a final plan. One nice thing about Christmas this year, they are saying San Diegans will be having a sunny, warm, wonderful Christmas. I'll take it. The surgery schedule is finally falling into place, coming together. Thank you, stewdogg. Between myself and all the RTHlings behind me, I feel invincible. Thank you for all the prayers from my RTH family. I love you all so much. And, of course, still praying for others on the forum having health issues as well. Please, please all get better now. And that's an order.

Hey, I talk jive. Beaver's mom. That movie was a crack up. Quick note - I was released (paroled? from the hospital this afternoon). I've been home since around 4:30. Took them forevermore, but they finally got the discharge papers ready. The house is a mess, large 4 foot by 4 foot (or more!) holes jackhammered into the slab of the garage. We can live with it like this for a little while. Was good to hear from you Brian. I hope Christa's procedure goes well tomorrow. Make sure you get some much needed rest in advance. Sending love and prayers to both you, hoping everything goes well.

Sending healing thoughts and prayers to you.

The Last time they did an MRI on me I had a MalFunction and the whole Experiment caught on fire Ouch! I'm glad they do CT scans on me more than the 20 minute MRIs. I hate that bumping and banging.

Just scrambled, Dule. But at least they are not damn Tofu. As expected, the vampires came and collected a couple vials of blood. Just more routine stuff. I'm wondering if they will run out of blood before they are done, lol. Two vials every morning. Blows me away thinking of all the data they are collecting on me.

You're up too early this morning Jean rockpickerforever . Go back to sleep and get more rest. RickB, it's always early hospital morning hours here. The vampires will be back soon, to snatch a couple vials of blood. Then more food in a couple hours, and another day starts. Will take a well needed shower this morning, then hopefully consultation with the doctor about their plans for the procedure. Despit waiting to hear from them all day yesterday, that just didn't happen yesterday. Could be happening soon. I am ready for it. I had another CT scan on my noggin yesterday afternoon, to check and recheck size and position of the offending blob. At least they keep monitoring me and are collecting constant data.

Brrr! Everyone stay warm coming up. Some cold temps gonna be hitting in the next week. As Bob would say, batten down the hatches, and light the home fires. Uh, that's the heat, don't burn down the house! That's a good one, RickB. I just didn't have time to go looking for it yesterday. Who am I kidding? I've got nothing but time in here. Just sometimes my stupid phone has issues, and my eyes get a little tired. Thanks for the post, Rick. Not cold here right now, yay.

Loving Mr. Ice blue eyes! He is so photogenic. Yeah, I don't know how that lady does it but she does it every year. I'm not sure how she gets him to sit still long enough. Especially this time of year, he loves the snow... miket, he is so fortunate to live back there where it is cold. So many people here have huskies and other dogs with thick coats of fur. It is just too hot here!

RickB , that's me! I resemble that Maggie. Hope your holiday plans are going swimingly! Can't be a couch potato in the hospital. We need to get you back home and on your couch soon. Hi, RickB. Things should be starting to move soon, leave this hospital bed for home turf briefly. Need to get home and pay some of the usual bills. Hard to do without accessing my computer and bank account numbers at home, and that's if my brain is functioning. I have not had my purse, checkbook , banking info at my hands for almost two weeks, before my ride to the ER in an ambulance. Would have been nice to get this all done before hand, but just never saw it coming. Moving forward starting this morning with doctor consultation.
