Can you still collect StinkingWater Pet Wood? or is it pretty tough to find? Love the golden colors from that area, have to plan a trip if there's still decent specimens to be had... Real hard to find and double hard digging if you do find anything. You could spend days there and only find chips unless you are extremely lucky. I quit going there a few years ago!

They sure are a beautiful agate & you do a great shine on them! I like working them, they sand and polish really easy. Never two of the the same, just like thundereggs.

Love those Brazilian halves. You're slapping a super shine on them, too. I have a bucket of big Brazilians that I can't cut with my tile saw, but don't want to bust up with the hammer either. They're patiently waiting, though. A good saw is a must have!! These I cut on 24 inch saw I got last month. It was a good addition to my other three saws.

Your slab has motivated me to dig out all the dendritic burro creek I got and fire up the saw this weekend, hopefully they are half as nice as your slab. I saw this for sale on Facebook just now... same stuff? Ir sure looks the same, thanks for the info!.

That Brazilian is a bit different than most! it has a lot going on with it! That is what I thought also, can't wait to get it polished.

I used a different camera and it did not grab the focus like I would expect.

I imagine there is a good explanation why the rind is colored and the center isn't. I don't know it though. be interesting to find out why! I heard it may be because of the agage being exposed to heat, don't have a clue tho!
