Sterling Silver. 1st try on this design. I'm working with a professional jewelry instructor. We will be setting up an Etsy store in a few months. In addition to this we made matching ring and earring sets today. I've also made bracelets. Thursday she will help me design a necklace and matching earring set.

If only our national elections would have the same number of votes and voters.

I'll check there. I don't smoke, so it's not a place I'd think of. Thanks.

I made the first attempt too thin and didn't let it dry long enough. It broke. That clay became a pendant. Learning can be expensive. Ideally I should have used a 50 gram pack, but the 25 gram came with the kit. A 50 gram PVM3 will run about $100. I also had trouble keeping the propane torch lit. The heating was uneven and too varied in temperature. I need to locate butane for the more appropriate torch. It's harder to find these days.

They only have value when cut. The trip cost me $300 or so. I recouped $160 of that off of two garnets. I don't expect to get rich. I just want to see dull rocks turn into gemstones. There's always a chance that a raw one doesn't have any guts.

No rush at all. They're sitting in the car. The rocks behave better than my dog on a ride. I can send a varied batch of gems and crystals. PM address info when you want to take a look.
