This all gonna be in a medium Flat Rate box or a footlocker? I have to agree with Bob, tumbling rough takes up a lot of room and probably wont be a good traveling companion with slabs. Just my opinion.

Yup, I knew I had seen it. My you have eagle eyes. Or is that the Grinch ? I have no idea. Her Grandaddy collected the weirdest objects. Now she does and hoards them. 40 foot oversea container, 600 sqft barn and this room. At least she makes things out of them in this room. One of these days when she is out of town I'm calling a moving company, well, if I wasn't so spineless I would. What about the sticks of dynamite/TNT? ?

I’ve been tumbling for about a year RWA3006 and have yet to come up with a “cool” answer to this question. Keep a bowl on my desk at work & give most of them away. The wife sold some at a yard sale for 25 cents a piece a few months ago. I have yet to see any $$ from that sale.....

Ditto Mike's question. Nice mastery of the soft ones. I believe James could use some Metamucil, no not cause he’s full of something, for his fluorite & obsidian......

As of now we are planning to go next month for a day. Well go Saturday and come back Sunday. Any of the pay mines any good? No seeding of foreign stuff, hate that. How about and creeks or streams we could collect from? Not looking for anything requiring tools, just something fun to do for a couple of hours. Kevin, on the road from Pigeon Forge to Gatlinburg there is a large creek that runs between the 4 lanes. There are places to pull off that people use to trout fish. Never rockhounded there so don’t know if it’s productive. Most of those sluice mine operations are seeded. There are some actual pay mine sites over in North Carolina.

I was thinking of the photos that Jeff Dunham shows of his youth and wondering where the ventriloquist dummy is. Nice heals on them shoes. Man's got guts to post that photo. Must be comfortable in his skin. Very comfortable. Platforms ? Was that the name for those heels ? Yep, platforms. Had a pair of red, white & blue ones that we shined up with vasoline. Went great with bell bottom patchwork jeans. Remember riding a bike with bell bottoms & they would get caught in the chain?

I like it. It's agatized coral, so of course I like it! Question - what makes the clay blue? It’s sad? ?
