Thank you all. That was a lot of cutting, one full weekend starting Friday after work. Here is a close up of one of slabs, it is an Az Chrysocolla with a Shattuckite blend in spots. If you are interested in any, I believe my mining partner loaded Roy up with a bunch of it. Tim

It would have to be researched if a off the shelf bearing is available, but I have seen a D14 with 1" shaft.

Looks like typical pastellite. Here are a couple examples of some I collected a few years ago.

I used a 3/4" shaft, I probably should have went with a 1" and replaced the bearings due to the length, but I have no issues with vibrations.

We have some of that set out as yard rocks!
Maybe I need to tell Vince to get those puppies in the saw.
Yeah... Get Vince cutting, great weather today, let's see some slabs.

Az lighting is a name I believe was coined by 49ner Minerals in Az, the original find was near the UFO mine. Cabs 1 and 3 could possibly be Az Lighting, but like Gem Silica, it is an abused name. If I can figure how to post a pic from Google Photos, I would show you several examples.

I had the same problem a few years back, evenly heat the flange with a propane torch, it will loosen up in a minute or so.

Your slab has motivated me to dig out all the dendritic burro creek I got and fire up the saw this weekend, hopefully they are half as nice as your slab.

You brought home quite the selection. Did you find any of the bacon agate on the north side of the road after the Clay Hills area? Did you guys hit the garnet site at Lion Springs?

Throw one of those brecci slabs in a solution of copper sulfate for a few days, it will turn the white areas a cool copper blue/green.

Did you see any sign's about the potential closure? Hopefully just a bad rumor.
