youp50 and grumpybill Such activity must take place at great distances from the better half. Or a sound proof man cave with a secret ingress/egress and large padlocks. Or better yet when she is way out of town. Of course you guys already know that. I have said man cave, heated and blocks from the house. Storeroom lock on the door, alas, CRS kicked in and I needed to give the Mrs a key. So I can access the shop when I can't remember where my keys are. I was told 3 things go when one ages. 1) eye sight 2) hair 3) ......gimme a moment, I forgot #3...

Being happy with one of your very own creations is not silly. Enjoy the fruits of your labor. Do not ever stop being happy with them, get better at it, try new things. Drop the rocks and pickup knitting if you ever stop feeling good about the fruits. Of your labor, not various RTH members. Those you can not feel good about. Thank you....very wise words.....This is way better than knitting [which I suck at] Wait.... *I can't feel good about RTH members??-I think its too late😂 Way too many talented, smart, kind people on here not to feel good about. The fruits, don't have to feel good about the fruits.

Had I managed to find that, my Mrs would have taken the hammer to me had I damaged the rooster. I would have had the "pleasure" of looking at that one until one of us passed on.

I like that wood, lots. I am in the process of polishing a hunk of Nodak. A gift, not sure where it's from in North Dakota. If it turns out almost that good I will be happy.

Those are cool! That hole looks a little snakey. How in the world did you ever think to sieve there. I am sorry for your loss. I hope your insurance is fair and prompt. I imagine your dogs will forget the trauma with some attention, a treat, and time. The rocks are great, much envy to your spot. It is below zero today. Being a far northern resident, I look at a hole like that and think 'TROUT', keep the snakes.

No blockage is 'Glad Tidings'. Many people I know do just fine with a pace maker.

I hope you oil the shaft bushings more than once a year. I over oil at a drop or two every cleanout. Your manual will tell you lortones recommendation. I recall monthly. My recall is far from total...

Is the stinking wood opalized? I saw some similar at a shop and walked away from the opalized part. Probably a mistake, I probably should get a chunk and like it or wreck it.

Caught a beaver in a leghold trap and the drowning wire messed up. I got a forked pole and held it under. I smoked a cigarette, the beaver was not moving, no more bubbles, dead for sure.... I let him up, he took a breath and I got a do over. I did skin him...later.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. I trust you will be taken care of. My wife and I just traveled the length of Michigan. Below zero in the UP. Snowing in the Detroit area, lots of semi terrified drivers doing 30 mph in the middle lane. Merry Christmas.

8x6 concentric reducer; 8 in cap; 6 in Fernco.... as the Louisiana man would say, "Now your cooking in peanut oil"
Sure am glad I pulled the trigger on 6 in sch80 PVC. I do have the 6 in Ferncos. Fernco is much prouder of them than the 4s.
Well done.

Pocket gophers here. Try are kind of easy. Open a hole in the tunnel, add poison, put a shingle over the hole, gopher dies. We quit poisoning rodents inside long ago. They always seem to die in the wall or some other inaccessible place. I might have gotten a flying squirrel with a mouse trap. They have a grand time knocking stuff down at our camp. I have tried rat traps to no avail. He might have gotten hit just right to cause him to lay down next to the trap. If he was dead I would feed his body to a family of foxes near here. Foxes will put a hurting on the rodent population, I have no poultry, I like those fox.

I don't know, Jim. Maybe if you burnish them, I can't quite make out the wattage or brand of the light bulb. Getting close though.
