I have been buying rough threw the summer from several different sellers on Ebay and have yet to get good quality stones. We gather our own rocks threw the fall but it doesn't last us long enough to run year round so we resort to buying rough stones online. I was hoping some of you could share some online sellers that you deal with and buy from or maybe is there a seller in the group. Thanks in advance!!

Are there any other sites to sell on other then etsy that any of you are aware of? I tried to open a etsy account and the very first prompt was to enter my bank account information. I'd rather not,,,I ran threw PayPal collecting checks and money orders all the way up to the point where PayPal was my only option of receiving payments. I guess its the changing times but im still not comfortable with it

I was actually waiting to get approved to join the FB group and saw the link in the description of the group and here I am. I actually prefer forums over FB groups so I'm glad this exists!!

Thank you all for having me. I started out gold mining 20yrs ago with my wife. We without a doubt have gold fever. We found enough to have our wedding bands made with the gold we found. Well along came my son and I assume because rocks are easier to find then gold,,,he really took to it. He is the definition of a rock hound for sure. Long story short the past 7yrs have been rock hounding trips to the mountains. We run 2 lortones and a double barrel harbor freight and love the hobby. With summer winding down we are already planning a trip in the next month or so. We look forward to meeting some new people here and maybe even a group if there is one in our area of SC
