Here is my first batch of "new" recipe tumbles. I extended the polish time to 3 weeks and burnish to 2 days. I also shortened my 120/220 to 2 weeks instead of 3. THese are all cherts. The beige stuff is Ohio River fossil chert. Amazing stuff and very solid. The grey is Driveway chert. literally stuff I get from my driveway. Some does very well, some just chips, chips, chips. I mostly use it as filler/ giveaway stuff. Pet woods on top, and a Botswana. Assorted quartz bottom. Middle stuff is some dino doo and some unknown Jasper. Thunder egg slice, Missouri Lace and Jasper, Montana agates, Adventurine

These are beautiful! Were the three weeks spent on a rotary tumbler or vibe tumbler?

Rotary. I have a cheap vibe but it really isn't made for rocks... it works but it is too loud and really designed for dry polish.

The aventurine came out sweet! And for a filler that driveway chert is pretty rad!
