Great color variety. And that yellow one actually has banding, that’s cool.👍

It drove me crazy trying to get good focus on these cute Moroccan Agates. Really love the top-left one because it has a purple mickey-mouse-shape eye. I am collecting eye agates with mickey mouse shape eyes. The top right one reminded me of Barbamama, but of coz nothing can be seen from the pictures...

Another beautiful San Carlos Jasperagate: PS, that one along with the fossil coral are mesmerizing, happy additions to your collection I'm sure.
Thanks for keeping us in the loop.
I'm still playing around with load ratios to avoid chipping, can be rather frustrating at times. For what its worth, the matte finish black versions have their own charm....

I never blame myself or my tumbler for the chipping on the mohs 7 rocks . I believe 99.8% of the time they just came too weathered.

A week ago I threw these stones into the barrel for stage 1. It seems they are dark agates with red mossy/flame inclusions. During this week's cleanup, I didn't remember seeing any of these pieces, which was a bit weird. Since I rushed to setting up another week of stage 1 run, I will double check next week.

I like dark agates. Those look interesting. I hope you find them.

I think I found the piece from the left-top corner: Based on the bumpiness of the stone, it will disappear before I feel it will be ready for stage 2.

Another batch done polishing over the weekend. Detailed pictures to come later this week. This was the first time my mom saw the whole process in person. During and after the pandemic I shared with her many pictures of my tumbling, but it wasn't until she saw and felt them in person, did she understand why I put so much emphasis on the fineness of the rocks. She definitely had a LOT of comments. It was fun. We are very peaceful together when talking about rocks. She will take home some small slabs of Picture Jaspers that she loves (from Randy's box), that she will try tumbling herself in her small toy plastic tumbler. I don't think it is going to work due to the limited supply of non commercial-scale grit in China. Oh about those sandstones that she lost from her Utah/Arizona visit, she didn't even mention them because she was dazzled by so many of other types of rocks. She thought the stage 0 was the most important and I shall stop putting the "sub-par" (per her standard, which disqualifies 80% of the rocks I have) rocks in for tumbling, otherwise I will never be able to finish all of them in my lifetime. Who would be able though?

First, group pictures. The bigger and/or interesting ones. Smaller fillers.
