So I made some. The shelf boards are from Lowe's, 16"(narrow shelf) and 20" wide(wide shelf). The angle iron shelf supports were real rusty so they were cut and got run thru the tumbler with granite gravel as abrasive.

It reminds me of this "hymn"!
Refrain: Bringing in the shelves, Bringing in the shelves, We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the shelves; Bringing in the shelves, Bringing in the shelves, We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the shelves.

Bonus points for any other line from the song. (without a Google search)

Nice job on the shelving. Thanks for the words Diane. Weld the sides and make the 3 cross connectors 'bolt on' and it could be shipped in a flat box. Make a welding jig to mass produce and they would likely make a fine ETSY product for resale. Saying that because we tried to buy similar design and the cost was over the top.

You never fail to amaze Jason. You have covered a lot of ground in your years. He can probably sing the song verbatim rockbrain.

There's not much rest for the injured on this farm hummingbirdstones ashley. I tore a ligament in my shoulder that already had a torn rotator cuff moving fire pits last week. Way more crippling than the rib thing. Dang it. Check out my sexy ankles fused 15 years ago. One from a motorcycle accident and the other paralyzed in a spine injury. No rest for this beat up body.

Dang it!! You're killing us here!! You know shoulder is the worst. Heck for my knee replacement I was walking un-aided in less than 3 weeks. Most shoulder repairs require up to 6 weeks of inactivity for the arm. I don't believe your name and the word 'inactivity" have ever been used together.

Henry don't like the idea of being shelved either. Look action Jackson, you seem to be the restless one. Glad you are on the mend. My peaceful morning just got spoiled, neighbor just called and needs me to tow his truck out of some tight spot. This guy borrows everything from everyone, keeps none of his own tools or equipment. ever felt used ? Friend in need, friend indeed type. Christian duties, shut up Jim.

You never do things half assed. Those will withstand a hurricane! 1" x 2" 11 gauge steel tubing and 1" angle iron was purchased as scrap iron years ago Tela. I think I paid $800 for 1000 linear feet of each size total together. That's real cheap. That yard still has 4000 linear feet of the 1" x 2" tubing sitting on the rack for the same cheap price. That is a great size for building anything from a barn to furniture. Just saying scrap iron is about the last thing on earth that can be had cheap. Funny because new steel has dropped from 3 to 2.5 times it's cost 2 years ago. Still very expensive. My neighbor got a quote on concrete last week at over $400/yard. I paid $150/yard less than 2 years ago. It's crazy. This was removed from the internet recently(this should interest you). I dare share with this info with rockpickerforever. You probably heard that Biden was hiring 87,000 tax collectors. This list of job requirements(the last two) raised public anger(since when do tax agents carry firepower, one of the guns mentioned was like an AR-15). They made mention of the list of firepower and ammo that they will have to be familiar with. This is just plain threatening.: I guess he is looking for computer nurd's slash commando's lol. Related video, IRS agent starts at 5:50.:

Interesting. I already knew most of it, but interesting. Unfortunately, that's just the tip of the iceberg for us.

Interesting. I already knew most of it, but interesting. Unfortunately, that's just the tip of the iceberg for us. Our dear peaceful green administration hiring military force for such civilian functions ? Take that as a bold threat. Their honesty is appreciated. At least we can see what their message is - drawing a line in the sand... Where are those moonshiners ? Remember their relationship with tax collectors ? They will end up having their way with us. Just a matter of time.

Rotator cuff is now jacked?? I guess we're not going to have a push-up contest any time soon! (Let this one heal a little, will ya?!? )
