Yes, literally. When I say it's too hot to cab it's because I have to stand in the sun. I've seen several members here say it's too hot to slab. Is it an issue for you or are you concerned about the oil running too hot? I can cut slabs while I'm at work but it's been over 100 deg all week. Is that an issue?

In central Oregon it’s been in the high 90’s to low 100’s. If I cab or slab, I literally have to get up at 6am and be done by 11:30 at the latest because my workshop is either too hot inside to work or my saw starts to get too overwhelmed from the heat. You can literally notice a difference in how it runs/performs.

I do AC work. I work in the heat all day. On roofs and in attics. Picking up tools is the worst part! I'm not concerned about me. I'll spend a few minutes clamping in the vice and then be on my way on a call, or if I'm lucky, do some computer/paper work. My concern is for the saw and in particular the blade.

Great question rockbrain , I've been wondering the same thing. With the 100+ weather lately the oil gets awfully hot in the afternoon/evening, even with the saw in the shade and not running. I'd been keeping my sawing to the mornings when the oil had cooled overnight. I would assume the hot oil can't cool the blade very well? Hopefully someone will experience will chime in about sawing in hot weather!
