Ohhh they are all so beautiful...My favorite is Morrisonite, which reminds me of some Asian painting style of a gloomy night, and something very bad is about to happen in that world indicated by the golden stripes on the ground and at the bottom of the valley.

I really wish my lighting was better when I took these photos. I tried to manipulate the light as much as possible, but unfortunately the morrisonite (and others) don’t show the polish, detail and designs as much as they do in person. The green/blue in that cab almost looks translucent with white plumes.

The green/blue in that cab almost looks translucent with white plumes. I can imagine that. The picture does look noisy. Maybe you can take some pictures under the sunlight? These look great candidates for the 2022 Cab competition! forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/100002/open-contest-september-theme-landscape

Welp…. I just screwed up was I was attempting to fix 😂 and just deleted all those photos, when I was trying to delete the whole post, so I could upload better pics in better lighting. Just FYI to anyone who comes across this

Well I'm glad you found them realrockhound, they are spectacular. I think that curve contest let your shaping genie out of the box.
Tell me the second one is that the carrisite ? Did you also collect it ?

Yeah, second one is carrasite. The material sadly is not self collected. It did however come from my grandpas junk pile. When I pulled both of the nodules out of there, each had a face cut on them, and I literally said to myself, what the *bleep* are these doing in there?

You know what they say...one man's trash is another man's treasure... LOL Two great specimen pieces there!
