Those are excellent cabs, Jason! But when you say ( emphasis added) — I don't think any of these are breathtaking by any means...but they're done! LOL I have to disagree!! The "foggy" center of cab #3 looks like it's pouring out over its lower left corner. If I didn't know better I'd say that cab is breathing! Takes my breath away...

Thank you so much Gary!  In retrospect...I suppose that made me kinda sound like a rock-snob! LOL - I actually like every one of these cabs (and the cabs in the other thread I posted today)...but for some reason, none of them jumped out as being "THE ONE". Usually I have one or two out of a batch that seem to be head and shoulders above the rest. Thank you for seeing the beauty in this one. You really do have an amazing eye and a gift for expressing what you see! |

I love the designs in Stromatolite...but it's one of those materials that has so many inconsistencies within the material such that it doesn't allow for that "mirror" polish. (I know...it is what it is...and I'm a whiner! LOL) |

I wouldn't have it any other way!  When I was a kid, my father told me, "I don't care if you're a garbage man or the President...be the best you can be at whatever you do!". That has stayed with me my whole life...in pretty much anything I try my hand at doing. |

Son Of Beach and I poked around The Rock Shed for a couple hours...then stood out in the parking lot for another hour and a half BSing...then he came into Rapid and we met up back at my house...then he stole a bunch of my Prairie Agates! LOL (Teasing. I was happy to cough some up for him since we didn't go out hounding while he was in town! ) |
