Was just wondering where people were buying their grits from. Recently made a purchase from The Rock Shed, haven't gotten it yet, that's how recent it was. But I ended up looking at Kingsley North (pricing a bigger tumbler) and saw they had grit also. Was just wondering what people's feelings were on either one. I don't know if these vendors support this site or not, but if they are well thought of I want to support them. Both have pretty good pricing on equipment, compared to Amazon (for example). Being new to all of this, I just to get a lay of the land and help the people that support us and not get ripped off. Thanks for any info on this.

I do believe The Rock Shed is hands down the most respected supplier of grit and polish. If you do a search on here for "The Rock Shed", you'll see how many times they've been mentioned as to being the "go to" for that stuff. (And I'm not just saying that because they're local for me! LOL)

It's funny I was just in the middle of searching for the same this morning.
My go to was Kingsley North for their big bulk boxes, but it looks like their prices have made a significant jump recently. (* I should add that the prices they list for their bulk 25 or 45#'s I believe include shipping. Definitely double check that)
I still vouch for them as a vendor and have had no issues with the product that I've gotten.
In my opinion, The Rockshed or Kingsley North are the two I would buy from.
Finally picked up some of the highly touted Tin Oxide as well

For bulk course grit and mid bulk grit in general I use Johnson Brothers or Kingsley depending on who has the best price.
For prepolish & polish I use the Rock Shed.

I just got my shipment of grit from the Rock Shed today. I've got some stuff I'll be using up first, but it won't be long before I'll be into the new stuff. I know I've got it bad, I'm trying to be patient, but I'm already thinking about a bigger tumbler.
