IMG20220316105141 by nik1924, on Flickr Pretty neat. I never would have thought to grind on something like that. It almost looks like it'd just chip and fracture. Now I'll have to watch out for material like this. The 10 wheel home built grinder is pretty interesting too.

It is the same outcrop that produced a good bunch of agate nodules, including an enhydro. The brecciated material was a bit tricky to work with, some of the basaltic areas are heavily weathered and very soft. I did a two week soak in 330 epoxy and acetone to stabilize it a bit, but a few areas still crumbled out on the grinder.
