Hi all! susand24224 Susan has graciously offered to host the next Roaming Wire. Yay!!! I know she'll do a great job and I know she has a passion for wire wrapping.
Add your name and availability to this thread.
The next round will start sometime in NOV. Susan will let us know.
Nothing will change other than it will be OK to PM the next person in line for the new address. Unless you have a preference not to, then you can PM Susan for the address.

Well, I'm excited! Already I have Jasonsd (the man of great quotes at the bottom) and Rockbrain (the man who went from beginning wrapper to wrapper extraordinaire in a minute and a half). I'm headed to New Mexico for a few weeks in October, but as soon as I recover from the trip and get something wrapped, we can begin. I'll just keep the order people sign up in, unless someone has "avoid" dates. Unless someone thinks I need to, I'll not copy and paste the instructions from the last round here. . .or maybe I should if there are new participants.

I'm passing the reins and this thread over to Susan now. I'll be mailing her the cabs to start the next round.
I hope we get a lot of "players"! Even if you are a newbie, I hope you will want to try this for fun. No judgement involved. |

Maybe and abridged set of the instructions. There seems to be some confusion on when and what to post for pics. I thought I was supposed to replace the cab I removed to wrap. I'm excited to be participating again and I'm excited to be after Jason! It's not like I was hanging out waiting for Jason to join in so I could jump in behind him. Well, I was going to do that but kind of forgot and then just got lucky. Thanks for taking the reigns on this susand24224 it should be fun. Maybe I'll graduate out of copper wire by the time it comes around. |

Guys- I may have not been clear OR I may have been wrong. But, it just seems to make sense that you shouldn't have to replace the one you wrap since it's not actually yours to keep. It's up to you, susand24224, how you want to do it going forward. |

First post in the new thread will be instructions, second will be order of sending wraps, so they are easy to find and modify if needed.

No, Tela, butt right in always! I intend to allow signups, maybe even after we start but you pointed out that my post wasn't clear. The reason I wanted the list at the top was so I could modify it and find it easily if others wanted to sign up after I posted it. I'm glad we have the same idea.

I know cabs tend to build up, but if you start with six and don't replace what's wrapped you have the tendency to run out of cabs really quickly. I'll be adding a few cabs as well so we have a variety of shapes. Probably some that are rather unusual shapes for the adventurous participants!
