Why do you store the slabs in kitty litter ?
I saw someone else mention the same thing, so now I'm really curious,
and figure I'm missing something.

I do it to soak up the saw oil.

I pop the fresh cut slabs in there to help soak up excess oil so they're a little easier to clean. Unless I'm going to use the slab right away, they just accumulate there until I have some time to wash them.

Some very nice slabs! Like you, it would be hard to deceide how to cut them. My favorite is the dark brown about mid-way in your pictures. Where did you get that?
