Snagged a brand new Diamond Pacific 40T off eBay for cheaper than one from a shop. STOKED! Dumped a Rebel 17 barrel load, a 15lb barrel load and 6lb barrel in, slurry and all. Added 16 fl ozs of grit, 32 fl ozs of water and still had room for 2 qts of small agate chunks. Some of the slurry still had grit so just did a refresh on water & grit. New line up is the DP 40T, Rebel 17 barrel, 15lb barrel. Next clean out I'll put the other Rebel 17 barrel in place of the 15lb. This thing is a freaking BEAST!!!

Very cool! Congrats on the score. What's in the barrels - miscellaneous rocks or specific ones?

The 40T is burro creek, exotica jasper and I think, bots or bahias. I cut up some seam agate to use for smalls until I smooth them out, then they'll be used for vibe runs. I don't remember what's in the others. jasoninsd you'd love to be my neighbor, lol. You know you'd be over here borrowing time on Porcus. 😂

What was the price on the forklift for moving that barrel around😉 Lol, it ain't light. It's easily 50lbs right now. Rolls like a champ tho. Between the 3 barrels I easily have 80 - 90 lbs going right now. Gotta dig in my boxes to find a big pretty to tumble.

Did a clean out today of all 3 barrels so I could get an idea of what was where. After sorting, the breakdown is .... 40T 11lbs 10oz Bots 10lbs smalls 2lbs 10oz various Pet Wood 2lbs Exotica Jasper 10lbs Misc Mix Rock 6lb 14oz Big Boy Added 128 oz of water 25 fl oz of old slurry with some left over grit 48 fl oz of course grit ( 45, 80, 60/90 mixed together) Total weight is an estimate since it maxed out my scale - 55-60 lbs Rebel 17 Burro Creek and smalls Total weight of rock, water, grit slurry and barrel - 26lbs 10oz Rebel 17 Wyoming rock and various smalls Total weight of rock, water , slurry, grit and barrel - 27lbs Pic is the 40T load

Did you ditch your Rebel 17 setup all together then?
Curious how much water you use in that barrel? I've been around 2 cups but I think I can go less tbh.
A little jealous of the new setup, wish I had the space to get a little more messy...

Nope, it's still there. Using it for back up / special projects. Currently looking for a biggun to roll in the 40T. The opening is right around the same size as the rebel 17 diameter so I kinda want to run a small boulder, lol.

It came out not bad. The white veining washes out during cutting. The solid parts will take a shine tho. I need to get some pics.

No smoke yet

The rebel 17 barrels will handle that easy.
One day I'll find a good boulder to run. The question is how big or how heavy is too big or heavy. 🤔
