The end of the 2022 slabbing season is approaching, maybe another month to go. Thought I'd share some odds and ends that have came off the saw recently. All slabs are shown wet.
These first 2 pics are of a random rock I picked out of a bucket to see if it was worth the space it was taking up. Initially I wasn't all that impressed with it, but after cleaning it off, I kind of am liking the subtle bright moss like patterns in it. No idea what it is.

Another rock I cut to see why it was taking up space. I can't decide if it is cool or Meh. A little bit of both, probably leaning more toward Meh. Again, no idea what it is.

This next one is a keeper! Look familiar to anyone?

These next 2 pics are what I am calling Wispy Agate. Looks like wispy clouds on a summer day

I really like this moss type agate. The only problem with it is that there are lots of tiny vugs randomly throughout. (The whiter areas, the camera didn't really capture them too well). This is one of the less vuggy slabs.

A very brightly colored brecciated jasper. I might have posted some of this before but I like it so here it is (possibly) again

Not sure what is all going on in this slab. There are chatoyant Malachite looking parts, there are blue semitransparent parts, and some clear quartz parts. Kind of soft and seems like is wants to crumble. Will have to stabilize if I want to do anything with it.

This was labeled Hickoryite from Mexico. I like the fine banding

An unknown picture jasper. I might have also shown this one before.
