Since I primarily work in copper, I'm always looking for stones that compliment the color.

Most people don't look to solder copper setting as I do, as silver is traditional.

So, OK if you must- set it in silver

It wasn’t easy making a final decision on the shape, deciding to cab the slab took months lol!

For the most part, I'm not a "specimen" kinda guy when it comes to slabs...but I can understand the "delay" in piecing this one out! LOL

I did find it - and you know how a memory of something adds a bit of grandeur to it... It's a beautiful slab, about 8 inches in diameter but I don't think it has anything on your gorgeous cabochon (<3)
