Hi Everyone, My husband thought I should post this one. I found this stone next to a fence post in Northwestern Nebraska. We were a bit surprised to find this to be a Sagenite agate once my husband cut into it. Fortunately, we got 5 slabs from this stone. This agate is 1.5 inches. The pendant is 3.25 inch total. Really pretty pendant, Wendy! Love the stone - what a great find. It looks more like a plume agate than sagenite to me, though.

That's an interesting design, I particularly like the 3 rows of angled beads, a nice compliment to the stone.

I love it. I would have thought the larger top area would dominate and distract from the stone but it helps lead your eye right to it. Nice job!

WOWZERS!!! First, what a fantastic find!! I need to start looking a bit closer at some of the rocks when out hounding if there's stuff like this out there! LOL Second, the wrap design AND execution are beautiful! The overall composition is great...and the beads are a fantastic addition! Well done!! |

Whoever thought this stone maybe a plume agate, may be right. I'm looking into it. (For the record, I thought this could be something else, hubby thought Sagenite...lol). He is usually closer than I am to the truth...lol).
