It always made me wonder what's at the bottom of those piles ... any Hornitos Poppy that washed down into the river was probably sitting fairly close to the surface, so it makes sense that it would now be buried on the bottom of these piles? If I bought that property I'd have to get someone in there with a big Cat to rearranging the kitty litter if you get my drift haha.

So just for a point of reference, the main collections of Hornitos Poppy Jasper outcrops are located along Hunters Valley Rd. which is a ridge about 500' elevation above the river valley which is now Lake McClure and Lake McSwain.

That’s pretty cool! I don’t know how excited I would be hounding near people though. I prefer to be alone and not near humans lol.
