Hi all. This was a gift for my niece. The stone is some kind of jasper I've had in amongst my many containers of rocks. Not sure what it is. I've tumbled some of it and it always amazes me when I see it polished cuz it looks so much different in the rough. Thanks for looking, Ed

The stone is beautiful, setting also. Great cut. Is that prefabricated finding or you made it yourself? This stone is very interesting. I am interested to see rough stone. Is there some kind of play of light?
Does anybody see fish eating smaller fish and dolphin beneath in upper left corner of stone?
Great job. Zotika

Thanks all. It reall looks much nicer in person. The setting is store bought-haven't gotten into silversmithing-yet. The best I can do for another pic of this stone is this This was tumbled with another batch. Sorry, I don't have a name for it, but I don't even remember where it came from. I have to look thru my storage containers and see if I have any more. Thanks for the comments folks, it keeps me going and striving to get better at this lapidary stuff. I need to start doing more and start selling some things so I can help pay for all this equipment and MORE rocks. Ed
