Mike, I can see the video. Looks like you got a nice polish on the tiger eye. The picture doesn't do the shine justice. You may have been able to get a little better shine, but this stone is really nice. Good job!

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience."

khara - There's so many threads discussing face masks...but my take from all the threads is when cabbing material, there's so much water being used, the risk of dust is so minimal that I don't wear one...because my understanding of all the discussions is the risk is actually negligible. That's just me though.

khara I have heard that it's potentially dangerous because the fibers in it are asbestos, but others say that it is silicated and safe with water. I choose not to cab it.

Dang. I'll still cab it, but I guess that's my choice. 'Course no one ever accused me of being the smartest person in the room... π
