first rock is the only one from the estate that I’ve found that was tumbled or shaped to some degree.

the second rock is one that my wife spotted. Those specks of, blue? (They look blue to me) in the rock have an adularescent glow to them. I tried to capture that in the photos, I hope that you can see it.

the third set of photos is two different pieces of rough (1 wet 1 dry)

the fourth set of photos is cut pieces of what appears to be the same material. I posted a picture of it in the other thread but I went back and found more pieces of material and cut them at different angles to see if it would help with the identification at all. The oranges and yellows are so vivid it’s hard to comprehend. The photos are not altered in any way and they are pretty much a spot on representation of what the material looks like in person.

And you are absolutely correct! SOLVED! Interesting that I was reading about this same material on one of liveoak’s posts last night and today find out that I have been curious about the same material I was reading about. 🤔

First picture may be shrinkwood -south and west of San Antonio, Llano for llanolite and some of the other material could be from the Needle Peak Woodward Ranch south area.

Same here. I used to go to the IHRA Spring Nationals at Thunder Valley. Also visited the '82 World's Fair in Knoxville. Moved to Arizona in '86.
