This was actually one of the two cabs made for the matched pair theme not too long back. Just the heat and my schedule prevented me from finishing the second one at the time. inside light  in the sun  |

Thats crazy! Is that where the green is coming from? So I would assume it changes colors depending on the angle right? |

Very nice. Great job - triangles are a b****. They really are. It’s an absolute pain getting the lines at the points out of the dome. Especially the top point, without screwing up the dome or girdle. |

My doublets and triplets teacher backed plume with a mirror before, it turned out pretty cool.

I have to wonder about the pointy top - looks cool, but in use, unless it's really tough, I'd think it could break off.
If it was me I'd round the top ever so slightly.
It would hang better as an earrings - assuming that's the intention.

Patty If it's used in a setting, wouldn't the bezel protect the point? realrockhound - I think you oughta tuck this one away. Once you get going with smithing, these will make some nice earrings. |
