john - looks like you got a pretty nice setup there and a shop full of people! i've enjoyed seeing the pictures of your cabs on the board so it's nice to see where those babies are born.
those slabs in the last 2 pics are fantastic! would be great too see more of your cabs if you get time to post some.
Thx - dan

i have like a million questions lol. i see your quartz crystal wraps over on the wall. did you put them on chains? have we seen all those cabs in the cases? if not, get over there and take us some pics. what is the orbicular slab? and did your genie come with 2 lights? mine came with a light and a magnifying glass.

Wow. Too cool John. The only problem I see is that bar stool-way too hard. Ya need to get yourself a nice easy chair on wheels so you can work on all your machines in style and comfort. If ya need any nice display cases let me know, maybe we can work out a trade. I've got lots of nice hardwoods-curly maple, cherry, mahogany, walnut, even got some exotics. Be glad to build some for ya and maybe help ya save some cash.

Sands-
What a sweet little set up you've got there. Can't beat all the traffic in the shop. W/ the work you do it's only a matter of time before you're in fat city. I can be proud to say I've got a few of the original Sands Cabs!!!!!!
Congrats, good luck and best wishes in your new endeavors!!!!!!!!!!!

Just wondering what it was. I just bought a piece of it from a Rock Shop in Brownsville Oregon, and I think I got a steal on it. The lady didn't know what it was....I thought Owyhee but you're probably correct. I'll try posting a few pics of what I got on another thread. Thanks

Hey Sands,Is your shop in philly? If so where is it located ? I would love to see your shop.I am pretty new at this rock thing but I am so hooked.theres not too many places around here to get rocks.this past summer I took grandkids back the creek to pick rocks.I was surprised we did get some pretty rocks.(not like the ones I see on here but pretty in there own rights)and best part was we had fun.and my daughter brought me some rocks home from arizona.Dont know what they are but they are pretty.so let me know where your shop is so I can visit.Pleeeeasseeeeee let it be in philly.LOL Linda
