so this Alaskan thunder egg took all of my 24 inch saw. Only access to the location is by helicopter.

Yeah, ive got maybe 150 lbs of that type of material, largest single thunder egg i found in the area was about 3 ft across, granted it was just white core and brown outside so i left it, maybe some day ill go back but it sure cost a lot to go on that trip via helicopter! |

BTW, chrysanthemum stone is like cristobalite spheres but made out of feldspar.

Ahhh - I see the problem. They are Facebook images. I'm shut out of there. Patty showed them to me.  This is a collection of at least a dozen eggs.  Chrysanthemum stone is filled with feldspar spheres - similar to cristobalite in snowflake obsidian. |

Might need to clear your internet cache and or cookies, that's what happnes occasionally when things start getting weird on my end |
