HI all kim ask to see what goodys was in the cases so here go's hahaha some dino bones and an amy cab the rest are mixed i have no idea what this is but i got a nice chunk from kim she will have to tell us hahaha

Those photos are through glass, and they do not do real justice to his work. His shop is just the right kind of mess where folks feel east to speak with Sands. He is always ready to show any one how it is done, and never hesitates to explain. He is drawing a crowd.

yea i hear ya ed i been messin with the saw tryin to fig a way to get it to slab wile im cuttin cabs but its not goin well but im gonna get on the cabs prob weds and thur i can get in the market but its closed so theres not many venders there so the electric is better then i can prob do both

i am so drooling over here. that is one fine looking bunch of stones there sands. i thought those were some cool moons too xena lol. the last pic is a red spot breccia. i've been working on my response for 20 minutes or more because i have to keep scrolling back and looking at the pics lol.

Wendy I think sandsman1 specializes in making cabochons, and a link showing his shop is here: forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/index.cgi?board=Pictures&action=display&thread=1136698946I see a trim saw, a slab saw, and a complete Diamond Pacific (Genie?) cabbing unit. Sands likes to cut his stones into geometric shapes, bevel them, sand, and then polish them. I must admit, his wiring is excellent too. Gosh, to have that kind of talent. MrCoffee
