Wow! Jason, you're really knocking them out! I can't wait to see your show report!
The patina is definitely an improvement. If I had to choose a fav, it would be that one.
You have obviously found your muse. I like how you take a tut and run with it.

jasoninsd, Well...... you have plenty of balls this week OMG, I just couldn't resist
Seriously, nice variety.
I like the inner/ outer bail technique.
I think you did that trick once before.
But I have to agree the "Sun" looks terrific with patina.
A show stopper.
Speaking of which - good luck at your show & congrats on getting chosen

jasoninsd Ok I found your original post. Yes definitely like the patina’d version of the sunburst best. Bright is good but patina’d is just better, more depth like you said. I’m interested to see your collection of wraps that you have ready for your show. I hope you’ll post some pics. I always think collections look so great all together and while people won’t wear more than one at a time, they will look so great all displayed together for sale.👍 I'll definitely take a "group" photo when I've got the table set up. I might take one when I get the "practice table" set up this week. Thank you so much! The tutorial that I changed up is called the "Icarus" wrap on YouTube. (Definitely not taking credit for the overall design...just the "tweaks"! LOL) Yeah...I do love Polychrome Jasper. I've worked a couple pieces that shined as well as Royal Imperial! Oh cool, thanks for the tutorial name. I’ve never wrapped, well I’ve done one, about 10 years ago, so I’ll just go ahead and try this as my 2nd one ever.🤣 Recently I bid on an eBay auction of polychrome. There was one piece that actually had an entire rainbow. Not just green and pink and orange, but like an actual whole rainbow of colors showing. I got out-bid.😢 Then my husband comes along and wants to bid on some blue tiger eye. That auction went well over the polychrome one, and we won. If I had KNOWN… argh, I think I could’ve gotten the polychrome for less than the price of the tiger eye. LOL - There's quite a few tutorials on YouTube. When I first started wrapping, I watched several of them...several times before I bent my first wire! Arghhh on the Polychrome! Sounds like it would have been a nice piece for sure! I'm guessing it was one of Zippyrocks auctions. He's been selling a fair amount of Polychrome in batches. This isn't the one I described above, but a different one we made later. I put peg hooks on it. The back section is a little over 2' wide. Two of these displays fit perfectly on a 6' table. I fan the sides out a little. That looks super handy and portable! Thanks for posting the pic Beth! Wow! Jason, you're really knocking them out! I can't wait to see your show report!

You have obviously found your muse. I like how you take a tut and run with it. Thanks Tela! I seriously owe you a huge thank you for everything you've done to help me get me where I'm at with regards to wire-wrapping. There's no doubt I wouldn't have come as far as I have (with still a long way to go!) without your willingness to encourage and "mentor" me along the way! jasoninsd , Well...... you have plenty of balls this week OMG, I just couldn't resist

Thanks Patty! Well that made me chuckle first thing this morning! LOL I have done another piece with the inner/outer bail. I've seen a lot of examples of that out there. In most of them, the outer bail is thinner than the inner bail. It just looks cool. This one, I actually wanted the inner bail to be doing the work...so, I kept it narrower than the outer bail. I didn't really need to...but that was my erroneous thought process! LOL Thanks for commenting about the show. Maybe I'll be more nervous Thursday night...but as of yet, I'm not really all that nervous about it. I'm just going to enjoy spending time talking with people for two days. (So unlike me to be chatty! LOL)

jasoninsd You are more than welcome. I think your success now and in the future is gratifying.
Actually, you have been making me nostalgic... I remember my fist juried art show (I couldn't be there because we had a hurricane!), But, my jewelry went on a tour with the group around the world and ended up in Scotland and in a book- which for some reason I don't have. One of your new wraps is a take off on one I did a tute for so long ago. I kinda feel like passing the torch in a way. It makes me nostalgic, but also makes me want to push the envelope. For a while now, I have been feeling like I am out of new ideas, but I had one a few days ago that I will be working on today.
You're gonna do well at the show- I know it. But, don't wait till the last minute to do your set up. It takes time to get it right. Remember: Presentation is everything. Speaking of which, have you considered your target customer? Do you have a price range in mind? PLEASE do NOT sell too low. Your work is better than most and deserves a better price.

I have to research that technique- you pulled it off pretty nice.
The inner bail makes the decorative outer bail work !
Good one.

It's not the first time I've had a woman tell me I've made them think of their past! LOL What an amazing sense of gratification you must have had (and still should!) to have your pieces go on tour!! That would be amazing if you could ever find a copy of that book!! I'd buy a copy!! Of course I'm curious as to which one of my wraps you're talking about with regards to your tutorial... I'm not going to sugar coat it...I ALWAYS get excited to see your wraps...and will be on pins and needles watching for your new idea come to fruition! No...I won't wait until the last minute. I'm probably going to set a table up tonight or tomorrow. I actually do have an idea of the customers at this show. It will be very unlike the first show I did. The first show was all about "working class people" who are into looking for Fairburn Agates. (That's not a derogatory thing!) It wasn't a "craft fair" or a "jewelry show" type of setting. They were people who appreciate rocks. This show will be geared more towards the "ritzier" type of customer. Most likely, they couldn't tell you the difference between a Crazy Lace cab and a Thunderegg cab. They will be more into what the pieces look like...versus what it's made from. The Dahl brings in the people with money who want to "support the arts". I figure if there's a couple people with paintings and sculptures selling for thousands of dollars, people will want to buy something from the event...and I'll give them an opportunity to walk away with "something" and not have to spend as much!

jasoninsd With that many wraps you're definitely going to have to go vertical (at least partially). Beth's board is good. Here are a couple of others I found on Etsy to give you some ideas: www.etsy.com/search?q=jewelry%20display%20boardYou're handy enough that you could make these with no problem.

The wrap was the second, I think- the flint. It was a popular tute and much the same.
Sounds like you're on the right track to me. You should do very well.

Thanks for those links Robin! I don't know...I've had a successful week so far...and by that I mean no injuries...I'm not sure I should jinx it by messing with power tools! Sounds like you're on the right track to me. You should do very well. Ummm...I do get a lot of looks where I'm pretty sure she's saying, "I cannot believe you just freakin' said that!"...or she's nonverbally saying, "When we get home, you're going to get it!"...and so far, that hasn't been in the good way! LOL I actually really like that style of the flint. It only requires two wires...and can easily be made more "masculine" by eliminating the bottom swirls. (To keep it masculine, you can't really get rid of the balls! - Just sayin'! LOL)

But seriously, how does a person get that kind of stock?
