That young one Tardy gets about a 2 mile trail run behind(or in front !) of a quick electric motocross bike about as fast as I can go every day. She loves to run, is restless, high energy and loves heavy workouts Jason. Never had such a game dog.

We have a game, drive the quiet bike quickly to quiet spots in the woods with a good 360 degree view and stop/listen/look often spooking deer and watch her chase. Or she scents them. The deer smoke her after about 200 yards but she is wide open on a wild chase. The deer are used to her by now and often seem to tease her by staying about 20 yards ahead of her playing chase for a spell before hitting the gas and dusting her.

Many of our puppy clients come to the farm and run their dogs. Tardy is center game chase target and they just can't catch her. After they are all winded she starts and mixes up the wrestling action of which her Mommy has trained her to do well. She takes hard falls and hits and never seems to get injured probably due to being in such great shape. They are running machines, that was their intended design for the hunt. Thankfully she does not chase the deer unless she is with me on the bike or one walks up close to the house. Give her another year and she will be in prime adult physical condition at 2 - 2.5 years of age. She is also an alert watchdog.

jasoninsd Tardy's Mom was bred at ages 2-3-4-5. Finally at age 5 she had a litter of 5 and Tardy was the only girl.
Trust me, like Trigger Tardy get's the Tard label more often than the Tardy label. I get ya.
We have trained her to jump straight up vertically off all 4's straight up in the air repeatedly. Funniest thing and gets a ton of air, talking and grumbling the whole time. Now we have a monster on our hands lol.

I just walked outside and there was 3 doe heads sticking up at the crest of the front yard looking this way for Tardy. They are now bunched up around the house because it is rut and the bucks are chasing them incessantly. The bucks stay clear of the house. You probably know that whitetail bucks can be brutal rapists, they often chase the does till they are exhausted and then brutally have their way with them.
