I bought a big chunk of Turritella and this is my first cab from it. I think this looks pretty cool. Eccman

It is really cool - I love just looking at all the shells & patterns.

I've found that stuff on the tricky side to cab--great job!

eccman Looks nice. Did you buy a chunk and have to slab it also or was it already a slab? I’ve always liked Turritella. It’s a fun material.

It's a new material for me too. Of course most are new materials for me! I've finally got a couple of nice cabs out of it. The first few I did broke up during the grinding process. Your cab looks good!

Great looking cab from a (what can be) difficult material to work! Way to go Eccman!

eccman Well that’s cool that you are able to make your own slabs as well. I have an old rock saw but we haven’t gotten it running yet. Bought it years ago and still need to refurbish it.
