brybry asked if I would do some wraps for him for Christmas. I said of course...and we just traded slabs for wraps. Bryan definitely came through on the slabs...so now the pressure's gonna be on to wrap these sufficiently so the trade isn't lopsided!  The Nellite is absolutely SICK (in a good way!) Burro Creek Amethyst Amethyst Sage Chinese Pietersite Nellite

Thanks Tela! I wish everyone could see the Pietersite and the Nellite in person! They are both some of the coolest materials I've worked. The Pietersite is chatoyant in those yellow bands...and the Nelllite looks like it's a shot of something from deep space...like this:  |

I never heard of Nellite before, and had to look it up. I just read it was a combo between Tiger Eye & Pietersite. Amazing looking stuff.
I've always been partial to the blue Pietersite- but I need to keep an eye out for the Nellite now !

Hey now! I loves the Pietersite but a gorgeous blue Namibian Pietersite is the kryptonite for me. I LOVES bitchin shades of blue and Namibian has those blues I drool over. |

Thanks Patty! I've worked some other Nellite before...but the slabs he sent this time were off the charts! In fact, it was Bryan that sent me the Nellite last time! LOL Heck...I just knocked off the rough edges...you were the one who sent the killer material! I remember the size of some of those slabs, lol. Took a bit more than knocking the rough edges off. It took two hands to try and load some of those hogs onto the trim saw! LOL |
