OK this is what i bought myself for Xmas cause i think i was a pretty dam good kid this year hahaha OK i been wantin some tourmaline crystal chunks to cab and i been lookin all over for black onyx for intarsia and acouple pieces of criscola and turquoise and some small pieces of boulder opal for the center of intarsia what ya all think have i been good enuff for all that hahaha cause if ya don't think so ill just throw it in the trash

All of them look great Sands I especially like the boulder opal... is it tumbable? Where can I get some?

alice i guess you can tumble the stuff it is some kind of iron stone around the opal but its not cheap thats two lots and if i remember right around 60.00 but if i can sell one intarsia piece it will pay for it all so i guess it was worth it--i just work for free on the first one hahaha

great christmas presents sands. yeah i think you were good enough for that and maybe even some more. i can't wait to see that boulder opal done up, and the turquoise and chrysocolla......well all of it. i don't know if i've ever seen tourmaline cabbed. have to go search for a pic of that.

Hey John.
If ya decide you're not worthy, wait 'til I get down there and I'll take the trash out for ya. That boulder opal is some really nice stuff. I picked some up from the rock shop that went out of business. Hurry up and get some cabs made. Want to see your intarsia too.

Sands, I just tossed some tourmaline in the tumbler as filler - not sure if my stuff would cab or even tumble for that matter - I never recognize what they are after they're polished - Great presents!

herm i realy dont have a set plan but im fig on building around some of the stuff i just got,, doc had an idea about usein some pet wood to frame it in so im thinkin maybe ill try that and see how it comes out

Awwwwwwwwwwwww...poor you. Yup, ya better throw it in the trash. The trash is now located in Terrace, British Columbia....if I have to I can take it from there....
Good job - the turquoise looks like itll be fun!
