The last month or so I've noticed that when I put both barrels on the motor really seemed to dog down. At first I just placed one at a time instead of both and letting it rip andd that seemed to work for a while Then it struggled to move 2 barrels regardless so I cleaned and oiled the bearings and that seemed to help. Today however, I went to replace the barrels and it would hardly move even without extra weight on the shafts. So I took the lid off and slid the motor forward thinking a loose belt might be the culprit, still just barely turned. Ok, something else. I removed the belt and the fan and small pulley seemed to move at normal speeds, so I'm thinking it's the main drive shaft Any ideas what I might be missing? I cleaned and re-oiled the shafts and hooked the belt up and even without barrels the motor barely turns the main shaft.
I saw this thread, but I doesn't necessarily seem to be that the bearing is broken..
Also, when I opened the cover I noticed the each fan blade had taken damage from some kind of impact, I'm assuming it as nicking something over and over, but I didn't see any damage on the bottom of the lid or anywhere else for that matter. Any seen that before?

The 'nicks' on the fan blades are how they come from the factory; mine are similar.
Unfortunately, I don't know what is causing your slowness.

Try cleaning the motor, not in the machine, take it out and give it a good cleaning and a few drops of oil into the bushing areas of the shaft.

Son Of Beach mine started to do the same thing, so I totally stripped it. Degreased bushings, shafts, pulleys, pretty much everything. I then oiled the bearings and it fired right up. I would recommend replacing the belt too. Maybe it's stretched/worn down. With heavy use they need replaced pretty much annually. -Nicholas

I have some of the sewing machine oil I use for the bearings and shafts, would that and a cleaning with compressed air be sufficient? This is kind of new to me so...apologies.
Also where would I oil it?

I only had to move it about 1/2 way. I think it was a combo of too much crud along with a slightly loose belt.
I'm going to order a new belt for when it starts running tired again.

If you can get the motor on end just put a couple drops of oil right where the shaft comes out of the housing and let soak in for a while. Same on the other end, but harder to get at.

Glad to hear it. I'm not an expert tumbler, but I've been reading up on and keeping my 33b for like two years straight, so I know most tricks to keep em running right. I hope it keeps running for you.

Best thing I done was put flanged ball bearings in my 33b just as described in the thread you linked to. Only took half an hour to do and no more oily mess. Rolls really free and motor runs cooler.
