That's very nice looking. Where did you get the ring?

Nice piece - on both counts. I like the ring design just as much as the stone.

I really like the overall look of that ring. I think that was a genius move to allow the stone to make contact with the finger!

Very pretty ring. Just curious, what gauge is the band?

Really gorgeous ring Bravura Cabochon Designs, the nice silversmithing really makes the cab pop! Roughly what process do you go through after the third pic to get that great final finish in the first 2 pics? Like tumbling or buffing with a flex-shaft or both? Very impressive transformation between the freshly soldered look to the finished piece.

Very pretty ring. Just curious, what gauge is the band? Thanks, it’s a 14 gauge band.
Thank you. 14 gauge is what I use, although usually wire stock. Sheet has its advantages.

Thanks! -Files to remove saw and plier marks -Sandpaper 220, 400, 600 to remove file marks and fine sand -Three step polish on muslin buffs tripoli, fabulustre, red rouge in that order while cleaning between compounds and after red rouge. I did it all by hand and on a buffing machine, but a flex shaft could be utilized for sanding and polishing. Oh wow, thanks for details! I'd never heard of that polishing process before but looks like it's working very well. I've been trying to hunt down an oxygen tank and regulators to finally get smithing so the tips are greatly appreciated!

I really like the design and skill involved, but I would never wear it. It looks really uncomfortable with that point sticking in the finger. Yeah, there's a party pooper in every crowd.
