This is a kinda dumb first-world problem, but it bugs. All these diamond pads get dripping wet. Velcro and the polishing pads are the worst. After days on a thirsty paper towel, they’re still wet. Here’s a way to dry them with a peanut butter jar. Drill holes in the bottom to let the good air in. And a hole in the lid to let the bad air out. And a fan. Dries the pads in a few hours. Thus endeth my first-world problem. Hope you like it.

lol Love Wiley E. Coyote. I was afraid of condensation in storage tubes. Don't want a mold or fungus science project. The jar fits right in on the shelves. Trying to tidy up and make all this stuff fit in a small space. Too much fun!

Another option would be to do a strong vacuum with a water trap. Pulling a vacuum, you can boil water at room temperature removing it.

ditch the sealed containers. Simply brilliant and/or brilliant in its simplicity. Thank you. These supplies are outdoors on the patio, so if I can protect from bugs and dirt, then it is the simplest solution. My Mom said, "You're just like your father" when I was taking apart a dead microwave oven just to see what was in there. It's all fun, but maybe sometimes I'm a little too gadget-happy haha.

Dang it, vegasjames, I just promised dirtcleaner to go easy on the gadgets, but I think messing around with a vacuum pump would be fun too. Now you've got me thinking. Oh, and I'm from Vegas, and I have a treasured parking lot fragment of pink rhyolite from Rhyolite NV. And, yep, the bulk candy store with the good air conditioning and the nice bathrooms in Beatty is on my mental map. Not a lot of people will admit can say that.
