I couldn't find the thread where Jugglerguy was looking for ideas about tumble uses, so I'll just post it here. I love paperwhite narcissus flowers, so I was looking into getting some bulbs. You can "force" them in the house (and a lot of other bulbs, too). You layer some polished rocks in a vase, place the bulbs root down into the rocks and place some rocks to stabilize, but not cover them. Then add water just to underneath the root end.
I thought that would be a terrific idea for your fancy tumbles. Or, not fancy. ETA A picture

Great tip rockjunquie. My wife saves a lot of bottles that we can cut with the big trim saw. They would make good vases.
