My sheet of aluminum got delivered today so I tested it out. Cut great, bent great and looks good. Only thing that I would do different is to maybe order the next size up in thickness. I thick it could be thicker and still be easy to work with. I think it would look good on a leather cord. I have never seen any jewelry advertised with aluminum as the base metal but there is no nickel in it so should be OK for allergies.   Chuck |

I like the look. Can you picture it next to silver? I don't see much difference, but you can probably tell when they are next to each other.
There was some concern about aluminum and Alzheimer's.
Beautiful cab, BTW!

There was some concern about aluminum and Alzheimer's. Only if you eat a lot of it- or cook in it. At that rate, Stainless steel has chromium in it, which is known to the state of CA, etc, etc.....
Face it - we're all doomed

That looks really great Drummond Island Rocks ! It looks just as good as the stainless steel version.👍 And I like the style with the tab bezels. Could appeal to customers looking for something a little more unique. |

Nice looking pendant and a sweet cab. I do keep seeing a smiley face reflection in that first pic though. Health is always a concern with aluminum, that's why you should only drink beer from a bottle.

Interesting to see them side by side - both very nice.
If you did a textured finish on the aluminum, since it doesn't have as high of a polish, it wouldn't stand out as being that different at all.

We are the ones cutting, filing and sanding on these metals. Note to self, I should wear a mask more often than I do. Chuck |
