Have some of our newest additions coming, and we are super excited!
Just got a double barrel lot-o from the rockshed, a used ultra-vibe 18 industrial that needs a little work but should be easy to get going, and another used lot-o.
Going to be a big increase in our tumbles output next week and we are super excited for sure!
Have any of you used the ultra-vibe 18? What did you think of it?

Lapidarycentral, I use and like the UV-18. It takes a full load but definitely needs to have the moisture monitored for maximum rotation. I do flats and preforms with excellent results as long as you don't rush the process.

We are looking for pointers and there does not seem to be as much resources available online as the lot-o tumbler. Do you generally want to run it a little more damp, or about like the other vibratory tumblers?

I have a habit of checking mine several times during the day...not necessarily because I "need" to...more because I like seeing it run! LOL - I do have a squirt bottle handy to make sure the slurry isn't getting too thick. I've only run mine about a fifteen times or so...mostly for Teepee Canyon Agate slabs or Velvet Obsidian slabs and rough (from you! LOL) as well as some various other tumbles.

My Jan. 15, 2022 video will show in real time my UV-18 vibe in action. This is a 7 year old vibe and I know the new ones might not have the same motion.

Okay, so the UV-18 came today, and it needs some restoring for sure. I ordered some of the hardware and washers for it, but could someone possibly send me a video or photos of the setup taken apart with how the plate below the bowl is suppose to be assembled? It all looks pretty self explanatory, I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything I'm not aware I need. I might run down to the hardware store in the meantime and see if I can get some rubber washers and nuts and see if I can get it running temporarily.
Thanks for all the input though. I've seen some of your guys videos on youtube and they helped a lot so far.
