jeez I read all that Jeanie and all I can think of is no rest for the weary I could have said for the wicked butte we all know an angel in disguise mostly Good morning, mohs . I'm going to just mention this one time then let it go, more important things to worry about right now. On one of Bob's last visits to me in the hospital, he was wearing his mask in the room while a worker was in there. When the worker went to leave, Bob removed the ear loop to remove the mask, and it flipped one of his expensive ($5k a pair) hearing aids out of his ear, and it disappeared. Despite several of the housecleaning staff looking for it, it was never found. I think it may have been flung into the trash. I'm hoping his insurance will be paying for a new pair early next year. That is all, carry on! LOL, maybe Bob just needed some peace and quiet in that place...

If your medical deductible has already been met for this year...which I'm guessing it has!...maybe filing a claim for the hearing aid before the end of the year would save some money. Just a thought...

We might see above zero temps today...so that's a positive! It's supposed to be up to 50+ on Tuesday and Wednesday...which I'm more excited about right now than I am Christmas day! LOL

Just a thought... jasoninsd, the hearing aid never did turn up. I fear when it got flung off the elastic ear loops on Bob's mask, it went straight into the trash somehow. Several housekeepers broke out flashlights and swiffers and started looking for it. Was not to be found. Have not looked the info up again, but I seem to recall that they will replace your hearing aids at full insurance value every three years. Used to be every other year. Since the time he lost it, he has just been wearing the one he didn't lose. Even just using one is helpful, better than not using anything at all.

I figure one day I'm going to need hearing aids if I want to hear what my wife is saying...operative word there being "if"! LOL I read your update on everything in Robin's Spring thread. Please know you're very much still in my thoughts and prayers.

Hope things are going your way. I had to laugh because lately I've been having fun feigning that I can't hear people and I've almost gotten a beating or two from it.
My hearing is actually getting worse, but it's still fun to aggravate them and then put a stupid, I don't understand look on my face when I get called out on it. Teens make the very best targets for this form of entertainment, but my wife is not.

RWA3006. But being really hard of hear is not fun. As one who has that problem I heartily second that! There are worse things, I know, but hearing issues are a source of daily frustration and irritation. Phone conversations are increasingly difficult for me, and they're essential for daily living.

RWA3006. But being really hard of hear is not fun. Yep, I'm afraid that's around the corner for me because I'm getting worse. The folks I know who struggle with it become more easily isolated from others and it's sad to see.

My wife seems to have inherited both traits. My guess it is selective hearing and someone getting on her last nerve Checking in on rockpickerforever Jean. Hi Jean, thinking about you along with the rest.
