Here's some more cabs that I worked on over the last couple days. There isn't one of these which I don't love. In some of the pieces, the moss poked through the surface...but I think the overall "look" of the piece rises a ove those surface flaws. 1. Agua Nueva Agate (slab from holajonathan ) 2. Texas River Cobble (rough from aDave ) 3. Texas River Cobble (rough from aDave ) 4. Texas River Cobble (rough from aDave ) 5. Reyes Agate (rough from aDave ) 6. Malachite (rough...I actually bought this! LOL) 7. Nellite (slab from brybry ) 8. Chinese Pietersite (slab from brybry ) 9. Lavic (rough from aDave ) 10. Wonderstone (slab from brybry ) 11. That first one...the Agua Nueva...actually had a little bit of Marcasite in it right at the tip. Doming it took most of it out of the cab. I am in TOTAL love with Agua Nueva!! |

Jeez, couldn't wait for me to catch up, huh jasoninsd? Those are amazing. I'm gonna try to catch up around Christmas. Maybe you'll be busy with family gatherings or something  . Love the malachite. I'm trying to get ahold of some eventually. |

A nice batch Jason.
That wonderstone is funky looking stuff, the first photo makes me think of a top of an ice cream (creamsicle).
I for one am looking forward to seeing all the different shapes wrapped

Thanks Patty! Yeah...I'm going to have to start on these wraps pretty soon...but first I have to figure out "HOW"! LOL Nice variety! Lots of eye candy. I'm going with 9 for the win. Wow- it just pops and I love shields. Thanks Tela! That Lavic didn't polish to a "high gloss" finish by any means...but I like the tones and pattern in that one for sure. I think most of the time I post a bunch of cabs...not because they're "award winners" by any means...but mostly so people can have a reference if they ever search a certain type of material. |

I bought some 22 gauge copper wire...both round and square. Don't know if that'll make a difference or not. I guess we'll see! LOL |

That wonderstone in picture 11 made me do a double take. It has a serious trompe l’oeil effect going on with that central colored band that makes it look like it is folded over on itself. Very cool!
And a beautiful batch all around!
