My AR-2 arrived undamaged from The Rock Shed. I got 25 lbs of cushioning to go with it. The Fedex guy literally dragged it down the driveway (he is a real thorn in my side as he is always treating my packages like garbage). I made him wait while I opened and inspected everything (he is also terrified of my 2 miniature dachshunds, and they were in the house barking up a storm the whole time). All was good and I thanked him and wished him a happy new year, cause my resolution is to be a kinder gentler person. Anyway here is the tumbler without the barrels And of course up and running with all of it's relatives (2 other AR-2's an AR12 running in the 2x3Lb configuration, and a Model B) The rocks: S.D. Chalcedony Rock Shed assorted mix (what a great selection of stuff: Desert Jasper (another amazing looking rock!) India Green Tree Agate: And S.D. Prairie Agate:

What a happy and diligent family! The 25 lbs of cushioning look the best cushioning to me.

I'm so glad your packages arrived safe...and well...kinda sound! I love your shelves full of those red spinning beauties!! Oh...and the picture of those Prairie Agates look like a LOT of the rocks in my backyard! - Those are going to take awhile in coarse...they are super duper hard!!

So far all is good with the new tumbler. I ordered the large crushed Chalcedony, and some of it begged to be cut up, I actually got a few small slabs off one chunk, once they are oil free I'll get up some pixs. Very interesting stuff indeed, and some of it looks so much like fire agates, that Im going to be very careful when tumbling just in case lol. Oh and Jason, if this is what you get from your backyard, we have got to have a talk.

He can attest I have milk crates full of Prairie Agates...and that doesn't take into account the ones as "decoration" in the river rock! LOL Seriously though...where I go rock hounding there's Prairie Agates galore. I've stopped picking them up...unless they're very unique...otherwise my pack gets REAL heavy in the first 15 minutes!! LOL
