First one is a very nice Woodward ranch plume agate. Just no way to capture the dang thing (this was the best of over 25 tries) THen some kind of agate that appeared out of nowhere. Not happy with this one as the scratches just would not go away (the material growth pattern hid most of the deep ones)

Ooooo, I love purple and the shape on the second one. Of course, I like beveled cabs, too.

Stefan, I can't count the many times I've had to delete the "other" 20+ pictures that didn't turn out on certain cabs! LOL I really like that first "beveled" cab!!

Have to agree horrible photos- somehow I think that top beveled one is hiding a beautiful pattern, I can't see But I like the sharp bezel edge, a cab cut I haven't tried yet.

The beveled edge one is a tribute to the great teacher of Cabojohns, the sandman himself John Sands (RIP buddy). He pretty much taught us how to do these and despite my best efforts I still can't quite get it right (but I'm getting closer) I took it into work to show a co-worker and she offered to buy it from me. I put it in her hand and said take it, much the way Sands would have done. Read thru his tutorial if you want to see how it's done right!
