Sands, the earrings are not crooked. They are handmade, a little off is a key component. I bet she will not even know. They are that close. I bet she will love them. A little buff tomorrow, and brandy newdy. You done goo.

Hey Sands,
Those look good to me ... nice job!
On those Horn Coral pieces ... here is one for you ... if you are looking for something with a totally different look and you will only get one cab from each piece if you try this ...
Take and cut the pieces with the growth pattern as opposed to across the growth pattern. By cutting these across the growth pattern, you will get more cabs ... but, by cutting this material with the growth pattern ... it is something that is totally unique! I do this with Petoskey Stone as well and it's very original.
The vertical striations of the cell structure are unique and have great depth!!! You will need a real solid piece for this and you won't get near as many cabs from one piece ... but, when it comes to originality ... you can't beat it!!!
Catch ya later,
bear

if ya look at the pic up top the tray has a waffel pattern in it and the water and grit jump up on the squares wile it vibes and the slabs kinda stay still and the tray vibes under them grinding the grit on the slab but at the same time there movin around the tray counter clock wise and hittin new squares with fresh grit on them its realy pretty cool to watch
